Cramlington Kids Club is an integrated childcare unit offering low cost, high quality, flexible childcare. It was the first integrated childcare facility combining an Out of School Club with an Early Years Unit in Northumberland. We were originally established by a group of parent users with a similar focus in 1995 and became a Registered Charity (1063927) in August 1997 and were formerly known as Burnside Fun Club.

We exist to provide the necessary facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children during out of school hours and holidays whilst advancing education and training to the youngsters in our provision through stimulating educational and recreational activities. We are committed to promote a sense of community and belonging with our children and during the past 27 years has proved tremendously successful.

We are able to care for children aged 8 weeks to 13yrs every weekday throughout the entire year excluding bank holidays. We provide breakfast clubs, out of school activities and after school clubs.

Cramlington Kids Club is managed voluntarily by a group of parent users on a not-for-profit basis and is based at Eastlea Primary School. Our mission is to become the premier provider of a unique complete wrap around childcare facility from babies to teens. Our primary aim for parents, is to keep the childcare prices low without compromising the quality of care of their children.

The club has, over the last 27 years established itself as a lifeline to many families within Blyth, Cramlington, and Seaton Valley and on some occasions as far away as Morpeth and Newcastle. Over 475 children from 340 different families benefited from our services last year endorsing our success and the continued need to assist and attract further families and allowing more children to benefit from the company of others in a fun and exciting environment.

Our organisation has access to a minibus, which is used to collect children to and from local Schools and Nursery’s to the club. We also regularly organise trips and events for the children during holiday terms as well as family events to promote unity and partnership with all our families.
